Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to your use of this website and to locksmith services provided by Local Locksmith Glen Waverley.
About this website
This website provides general information about the locksmith services we offer in Glen Waverley and surrounding Melbourne areas. It is intended as a guide only and does not constitute advice about your specific door, lock, property or vehicle.
Service descriptions on this site describe the kinds of work we undertake. Whether a particular job can be completed, and how, depends on the hardware, the door or vehicle, and the circumstances on site.
Quotes and pricing
Any indication of scope or price given before we have inspected the work is an estimate based on the information you have provided. Where the situation on site differs from what was described, we will discuss it with you before continuing.
No work beyond what has been agreed will be carried out without your authorisation.
Availability
Availability varies. Nothing on this website should be read as a guarantee of a particular response time, a particular arrival window, or availability at any specific hour. Please call to confirm the current situation.
Authority to instruct work
By requesting locksmith work you confirm that you own the property or vehicle concerned, or are otherwise authorised to instruct work on it. We may require identification or other evidence of that authority before starting, and may decline to proceed where it cannot be provided.
For rented, tenanted or managed premises, authorisation from the owner or managing agent may be required before locks are changed.
Access and existing condition
Some locks, doors, frames and vehicles are already worn, damaged or aged before we attend. Where opening or servicing carries a risk to existing hardware, we will explain that risk before proceeding so you can decide how to continue.
Keys and security after work
Where new keys are supplied, keeping them secure is your responsibility. If keys are subsequently lost or not returned by another party, rekeying or replacement may be required and would be treated as new work.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that applies to you under the Australian Consumer Law and which cannot lawfully be excluded.
Website content and links
We aim to keep the content on this site accurate and current, but it is provided without warranty as to completeness. Where this site links to or embeds third-party content, such as a map service, that content is governed by the third party’s own terms.
The text, images and design of this website may not be reproduced without permission.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia.
